For brands that want their exact colour pressed into the object itself, a PMS-matched coating is available for an additional $0.60 per unit plus a $250 setup, in pink, purple, blue, red, green, yellow, orange, black, white or a custom match.
Lead time runs eight to ten weeks, which is the honest cost of bespoke tooling done properly. The result tends to outlive the campaign that prompted it — cutters get washed, stored in the third drawer down, and pulled out for birthdays years after the launch event has been forgotten.
