The BLUNT Metro, tucked into a handbag moments earlier, releases with a soft mechanical click and holds its shape against an 88km/h gust as though the weather were a minor inconvenience.
This is the compact in the BLUNT family — 375mm folded, a full metre across when opened, the canopy a taut 190T pongee in nine considered colours from Ink Black to Hibiscus Pink. The patented tips, those small umbrellas-within-an-umbrella at each rib end, create the even tension and unmistakable silhouette that has made the BLUNT shape its own kind of signature. The handle is easy-grip, debossed quietly with the BLUNT mark. The six-rib aluminium and steel frame carries a two-year global warranty.
Branding sits where it belongs: a discreet print on the canopy edge, or on the Velcro closure, or on the matching zip sleeve. The unbleached cardboard box arrives looking like something you'd want to keep. Given to clients in winter, the Metro tends to outlast the relationship that prompted it — which is, of course, the point of a gift that performs in weather. Minimum order ten.
